On January 20, Britain’s Prime Minister, David Cameron, brought together Nordic and Baltic leaders in London to discuss how best to boost economic growth, enterprise and job creation while improving people's wellbeing.
As the Financial Times noted, some have called the move an attempt by Cameron to woo smaller member states, essentially forming a “northern league” of “often Eurosceptic, Atlanticist countries that share a desire to rein in the power of Brussels and European Union spending.”
So what really happened? On Thursday, February 10, the UK Ambassador to Sweden Andrew Mitchell will provide an exclusive, behind-the-scenes brief of the summit. Billy McCormac, Senior Consultant at Prime, will moderate the discussion.
